Update on our dear Doug:

I just got a call from Doug. He's been in for his third radiation treatment, and is hanging in there.

He told me he has received a "whole bunch" of mail, (the postman left a large package of it at his front door, rather than in his mailbox) and he has enjoyed going through it all. He says it's "warmed him" to hear from all of his friends, including people he's lost touch with over the years.

Doug sounds good, if perhaps a little tired.

I'll post again next time I hear from him.
