THE WONDERING JEW

Not So

One surprise, youngest son flew in from Denver today to spend Christmas with his sister and family too. It will be super. He needs the time off to rest and be with family, especially with the Oregon side of it.

I'm doing better today than yesterday and hope soon to be as normal as I usually am.

The magic of Christmas Eve is at its work once again for those of us who are fortunate enough to be at home with family. And a certain amount will be with those away from home and family too, the service men and women who are on duty in lands afar and those who labor away from home and family. Love tries to stretch across the miles and time zones to sit beside loved ones tonight.

Family is downstairs watching a movie on TV and supper on the table right after. Yet, this doobie just has to go to the tattered pages of the old diary to pray and hope the rest of the world has at least one night of peace and love.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL is is good, but in this day and age, silent night is Not So . . . . . . . .
