Rian, in her entry today quoted a poem, author not mentioned that struck to the core of my being.

The days grow shorter, the nights grow longer;

The headstones thicker along the way;

And life grows sadder, but love grows stronger

For those who walk with us day by day.

More and more I find that Heather and I pause to tenderly hug each other and also the same action between us of the family is noted.

On the 20th of this month our daughter and her family will be with us on a visit from their home in Oregon. A thing much looked forward to.
