SAY SO

The article speaks for itself, I think. Buried in the mid of the paper, with no byline in "National News" in the Rocky Mountain News today. In full:

WASHINGTON -- "Eleven former intelligence officers are speaking up on behalf of CIA officer Valerie Plame, saying the leaking of her identity may have damaged national security and threatens the ability of U.S. intellegence gathering."

"In a statement to congressional leaders, the former officers said the Republican National Committee has circulated the idea that Plame was not working undercover and deserved no protection."

"Thousands of U.S. intellegence officers are desk workers in the Washington D.C., area and are undercover as Plame was, the former officers said in a three-page statement."

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In my not so humble opinion it appears to me that the only secrets our present administration wants kept are the ones dealing with the misbehavior of "their own."

I recently heard that the "alleged" rapist of a woman by a man of the military was not brought to trial because a psychotherapist refused to give her records of the woman to a military judge. Dithering around perhaps ? There was no other evidence of rape ? It all hinges on what is in the records of a psychotherapist ?

Now the nattering nabobs are saying that Valerie Plame "was not working undercover and deserved no security," YEAH RIGHT ! ! ! ! ! because her husband was disliked because of his opinions Valerie Plame was outed. Bet it was at the instigation of the man with the Rove-ing Eye.

They want us to let them off the hook and believe them, because the facts are cobbled and they SAY SO . . . . . . . . . .
