UNFATHOMABLE

Today I sat in a chapel and watched and heard a father give a memorial service for his son who had quit life too soon.

Although he shed not a tear his grief was quite apparent. He did a wonderful job, better than I could have done for our recently departed son.

He's family, the second husband of one of our nieces and well liked by our whole clan.

Life shall go on with him and his, just as it does for the rest of us. Gradually the grief will ease for him, to a dull ache in the background, I suppose.

Ah, but today, how I feel for that man.

And tonight I am sure my dreams will somehow revolve around this day.

The puzzles of life are sometimes UNFATHOMABLE . . . . . . . . .
