CEASE -- WHY ? ? ?

All the talk from many quarters are for Israel to Cease-Fire.

In the relatively short time since World War Two when once again Israel became a viable country, it has been beset on all sides with force by various Islamic ways of thinking and sheltered by many countries while Israelis have been slaughtered. Destruction of Israel has been the paramount aim of those people.

And those countries who play innocent and say they have not contributed to the harassment have allowed those terroristic elements to occupy space in their country and wreak their havoc from there.

Thinking back a bit, the importance of the Golan Heights is what kept Syria from their efforts to mess Israel up. Or am I wrong ?

I wonder just how much terroristic materiel and manpower has come through Jordan who is supposed to be our friend ?

Is it right that Hezbollah should be able to lob rockets into Israel from Lebanon ? Should not the Lebanese government put the kibosh on that type of activity ?

Quoting a box in an editorial in the Rocky Mountain News this morning: "Many of those who demand an immediate cease-fire seem to be revealingly vague about what should occur in its wake."

And that is the rub, there is no way for anyone to back up in time, time is past and can't be recovered. But some way should be figured out how to stop this eternal fighting in all parts of our world. We have seen genocide to the max in many different parts of our world, we have seen deliberate bombings, killings and other types of tyranny.

In many ways, in each conflict there is a victor - - - but in thinking things over it is plain to see that NO ONE WINS, both sides have lost.

So, should Israel pull in their horns and stop fighting ? And let Hezbollah keep up their terrible activities ?

Before a sensible conclusion occurs that benefits both Lebanon and Israel, Israel's activities should CEASE -- WHY? . . . . . . . . .
