Bright and early, or bright and early for Heather and I we went and voted. VOTE, another four letter word ? Seems that some folks treat it as one of THOSE words.

What with all the absentee ballots and early voting privileges, at ten AM Heather and I were able to get to a machine in short order.

The TV is on in the other room but I note that Heather is not there, nor am I. I expect we shall watch what the weather fearcasters will say about tomorrow's weather on the ten o'clock news cast. And perhaps tomorrow's newspaper will give me an idea of how things turned out -- barring recounts which might take an unconscionable time to finalize.

But one of the privileges of voting - - it gives me the ability to reply to crabs, "Well, I voted, did you ? ? ? ? ?

Knowing that I will find things awry, complain about them, but will be unable to come up with any solutions - - just like the big boys do.

So for me the rant will go on over things I perceive to be wrong knowing that I have my bitchin' RIGHTS RESERVED . . . . . . . . . .
