IN BETWEEN

So, here is this eighty-six year old body with a ten-year old mind, knee deep in the past and coping with today. Eking a life from the ashes of the past and the jewels of the present.

And the past slips away little by little as memory fails this aged person.

But perhaps there is something in it for me just to remember what I can while I can.

I don't seem to have many readers any more, at least those who used to comment often.

I'll get out my spray can of SCAT and shoo that pet of Winnie Churchill's off. No black dog permitted here.

A bit of a pity party never hurt me before, at least not that I know of.

Tonight I am fending off the Black Dog, looking in a mirror at my face and giggling a bit.

In the best of all worlds, tonight I am IN BETWEEN . . . . . . . .
