Hello Doug. At least you are doing something. The sky is the limit when people get to talking about things. You never know who may be drawn into the conversation and inspired, perhaps someone who is in a position to help begin a change. This is a terrible and sickening mess for these poor innocent children. Children deserve so much better.

This is another aspect of world child poverty of course. Unless and until the developed nations throws their weight behind the peace and aid agencies it'll not stop. A 'why should I vote for you when you allow this to happen?' enquiry of your politicians is about all you can do, Doug. I share your outrage.

I saw that article yesterday and could hardly believe it. What is this world coming to when children that young are expected to do hard labor and the care they don't get. This is not a civilized world if you ask me.

You're right, Doug, and my heart just goes out to these children. The money we spend for war and weapons could be used for so much good in the world. But I have an idea that it will never be that way. Perhaps we can pin our hopes on Barack Obama, our shining light from our state. Tho I'm afraid that we will never regain any good feelings that we ever had in the world.
