Sigh...so sweet, so sad. ~LA

When I start to count up all the sad puppy stories I have had in my life, being in "love" and losing and moving on, I shivver. Too many to count, but glad I only have one story left, and it hasn't turned sad. I enjoy remembering the past, too. I can't believe I went through some of things I did - seems like it happened to a total stranger.

It's amazing, isn't it, how when we're in the middle of it, we think we'll never feel OK again. But then, time passes, and we are OK.

I think first loves are supposed to be painful. I think it makes us appreciate the next one even more. Besides, if you could be traded off for something as shallow as a car, I'm glad it didn't work out.

Sad puppy later on, but always the gentleman, Doug. Good for you for speaking up, sometimes those in authority take it overboard and don't use it wisely. Doug-convertible? Doug-convertible? Doug-convertible? Doug!

Yes, I can remember a fairly similar situation when I was that age. The world spins round and round and each young couple in the passion of first love believes that they are the only ones to know such love.
