Doug, much good luck to your son as he undergoes this surgery. It's always more painful and worrisome to us to have one of our kids going thru something like this. My BIL has been having the same difficulties with his knees. Best advice is to hunt for the best surgeon available. Hugs to you, Heather, and the family.

May your son heal quick and be mobile soon. I had quicker healing due to taking Knox gelatin every day before and after surgery. I still take it, as arthritis runs in my family. So far, I have no symptoms. A doctor recommended it to me, and I sure am grateful that he did.
