Without special hardware and/or software, the easiest thing to do would be to draw on paper and then either scan it or take a digital photograph of it. When I have wanted to make a graphic (like an icon or a button or to draw a map) I have used a combination of Lotus Freelance Graphics and Photoshop, but if I wanted to draw a cartoon I would be tempted to just draw on paper and scan or photograph it. Maybe by the time I finish this graphic design course I'm taking this semester I will have come up with other options?

I can't use any of the graphic programs either. Nor can I Photoshop. I'm lucky I can get words up on my screen. I empathise, my friend. ~LA

Back in the day when Word Perfect and Microsoft Word were not as similar as they are now, a programmer told me that WP was designed to be easy for programmers and MSWord was meant to be easier for users. However, MS is less tolerant of foreign programs. Mostly I'm happy I'm not graphics-oriented anyhow, or I'd be might frustrated.
